Graduation Ceremony for Students of the Master's Program in "Conflict Resolution and Alliance of Civilizations" at ICESCO Headquarters

Collective publication authored by the intern students of the Master’s program in “Conflict Resolution and Alliance of Civilizations” and the officials of the ICESCO Center for Civilizational Dialogue, dedicated to civilizational diplomacy.
Professor Abdelhak Azzouzi, President of the United Nations Chair for the Alliance of Civilizations, took part in the graduation ceremony for students of the Master’s program in Conflict Resolution and Alliance of Civilizations, who completed their internship at ICESCO headquarters.
In the presence of several officials from this International Organization, which brings together 53 member states, Professor Azzouzi conveyed the pride and enthusiasm of the Euromed University of Fes—led by Professor Mostapha Bousmina—and of the members of the UNCAC, at finally experiencing these long-awaited moments.
This end-of-studies internship marks a pivotal stage in the academic and professional journey of students in this Master’s program, which is state-accredited and endorsed by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC). It represents a vital professional experience that enables interns to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired throughout their studies in a stimulating environment, with the ambition of promoting the human values upheld by the Chair and the UNAOC.
During the ceremony, the interns presented their internship reports on international conflict resolution and the Alliance of Civilizations. Their chosen central theme was: “Civilizational Diplomacy: A Vision through Training.” On this occasion, a collective volume was distributed, with various chapters written by the student interns and officials from the ICESCO Center for Civilizational Dialogue, directed by Ambassador Khalid Fath Errahman.
This publication aims to restore a capacity for collective action focused on rebuilding trust in the future, strengthening trust within societies, and reviving trust as a key driver for conflict resolution and international cooperation.
In many ways, nothing could have brought greater satisfaction than the organization of this ceremony by ICESCO, in full alignment and synergy with both Morocco’s widely acclaimed and recognized peaceful vision, and the United Nations’ ongoing efforts to promote values of mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence.
