Prof. Abdelhak Azzouzi, President of the United Nations Chair for the Alliance of Civilizations and Member of the Board of Directors of Euromed University of Fez<\/strong>, took part in the international forum \u201cQuo Vadis Europa?\u201d<\/strong>, held at the Universidad Internacional Men\u00e9ndez Pelayo (UIMP) in Santander, Spain, at the invitation of H.E. Josep Borrell<\/strong>, former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.<\/p>

Speaking during the session \u201cThe Global Context: A View from the South,\u201d<\/strong> Prof. Azzouzi addressed the profound transformations reshaping the international system from the perspective of the Global South.<\/p>

He highlighted five major forms of international disorder: strategic, normative, economic, representational and technological<\/strong>, while calling for a more representative, equitable and coherent multilateral system.<\/p>

Particular attention was devoted to the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and to the F\u00e8s Call<\/strong>, resulting from the international gathering held on 27\u201328 April 2026, which brought together 2,100 participants from 74 countries<\/strong>.<\/p>

Prof. Azzouzi also advocated a renewed relationship between Europe and the Global South, based on co-production, dialogue, innovation and shared responsibility<\/strong>.<\/p>

His central message was clear: Europe must no longer simply look towards the South; it must learn to look at the world with the South.<\/strong><\/p>
